Promised I'd upload a pic of Denali in his full attire once he'd dry so *tadda!* here comes Alaska!
Techie note: I had quite of a photographer nightmare -yeah, even pros struggle sometimes! *rotfl* trying to also make the ears, nose and eyes show under all that fluff. Hope it's OK. I also like to dedicate it to
purplephoenix03... 'cause I think he'd have loved it.

Ain't he cute & cuddly & fluffy and perfect? I resisted pinning the copper moose pin on its cap.But I still think it'll look awfully nice on it! *g*
And the Bear Hug sweater's just irresistible! Thanks again, guys for thinking it up, guys! I really love it. Truth is I burst out laughing when I took him off the package. Of course it's kinda odd seeing him dressed in winter when oustside temperature's flirting with 20°C so, I think he'll lose hat, scarf and skating shoes during summer. Speaking of summer, Denali and Kate took it to the beach. So here's a special pic for
laramoon. 'cause I couldn't resist cameo--ing a bunny, somehow. Bon, j'plaisante avec la plage de galets, c'est juste ma parure de lit mais, on en as des comme ça en Bretagne. ;)

Other news:
Went to WH Smith 'cause I'd totally missed Spirit&Destiny new issue -plus it'd been a while since I went to WHS and *bam!* closed! Before you ask, yes, they're usually open on sundays. Turns out the whole french staff's (whose bilingual and also bicultural) on strike since july 1rst to protest against their constantly degrading work conditions.
Of course I could go to Brentano's @ Opera in the meantime but: I've been WHS for 17 years! It's like Air France, no way I'm changing. Especially since what WHS exposes and asks for totally makes sense and puts in words what the business world is becoming so. Just: don't close WHS Paris store! Where would I get my fix of UK-US-Irish-Aussie culture, books, dvds and goodies otherwise? *nope, Virgin definitely doesn't even come close*. So went all the way up to L'Etoile from Concorde (the places) and all the seats and first raws, and gust of honours and presidential tribunes are now ready, thanks so much. As are the security ones. But, as I was going up the stream of tourists, I decided I'd be better in less crowded not tourists known streets and went to Noura. Dunno if there's a kind of cause/effect here but I always end up at Noura after something hits me hard. Not that I complain, food's total luxury & to die for. PLus, real lebanese taboulé. And, that way, I got mum's BDay pressie and can also bring oriental pastries the day after tomorrow. YAY!
Why would I consider leaving Paris when you got al the world handy when you know where to look? *drats & more thinking*

Well turns out we had a fabulous time really. Though, at first, even if I was all for going, I called and cancelled. Why? Someone committed suicide on the express train line and so traffic was stopped for at least an hour. And, even if trafic came back to normal, no trains would ever go as far as C&F. So I was stuck, basically. Went back home and called, said I was sorry 'cause really I was looking forward to see each other again. But inwardly thinking: " wasn't meant to go. P-Y matter settled. That's when François called. Told him I could come by bus but it'd take awfully long plus bus weren't safe on a saturday night. I could also try by regular train but, either way, I wouldn't make it 'til 9 pm.
"No pro, we'll wait. Just tell me were you'll land and I''ll drive over and pick you up".
And yeah, we had a great time... and an even greater and longer chat. I mean, was back home at 4 am and I guess, hadn't we been all yawning and eyes fluttering, we'd still be there chatting! It's a covenant friends thing. Even if we haven't seen each others in 6 months it's always like we left each others yesterday. Talks were also political 'cause, well: 2 ministeries staff + ex-journalist(but always a journalist) + basically 4 truth seekers... t'was bound to happen." *g*
So glad I listened to you guys and went. felt really good! :)
Today's lines & specificities: I find myself in silence.
Monday's: Moon's day. Day of a new beginning. WHatever you wanna change or do differently, monday's always a good pick. It's also a good day to rethink things.
Today's boost: Forgiveness. Forgive myself and other's prior condition to be able to love with all your heart. Allow your love to grow.
Moon in Virgo: precise, methodic, logic character. No inconsiderate actions. Good day for career, money and health.

I won't say Kansas. Especially since I think Kate's growing on him ;p
And ROTFL @ baby moses. Especially since Cathy's mum brought her and François two mini mooses from Norway and that's the image that pops to mind when I read your comment! :)
Gees. so lil' baby flying mooses? or is she an earth elf?
*Denali waves "hi"*
Oh, what a hassle you had to get to your friend's house! But I am glad you had fun in the end! That's great!!!
yeah, i really thought it was a deadend but then, I start thinking like Kate as a true NCIS agent: "must be a way 'round that!" *g*
And yeah, it was totally worth it. Breaking circles and fears's gonna become my next motto! :)
**Denali hugs**
